This course is targeted at developing handwriting skills of students, ensuring correct letter formation, spacing, and alignment. Practice will be provided in both capital and small letters in the correct size and shape. Emphasis is also placed on a correct pencil grip and posture to develop smooth, legible handwriting.
As students further develop, they will progress to writing words and sentences in cursive and print styles. Activities are incorporated to stress attention to detail and accuracy to guide the student in progressing in writing in a flowing and confident manner. By the course end, learners will have progressed to the point that they can produce neat, readable work—key elements for academic success and communication.
